Optional Add-Ons:

  • A small bending arm option is available to bend letters as small as 3 inches tall
  • A scribing option is available to pre-scribe the material for sharper bends and to help create smaller letters. This can be very valuable when producing letters from .063 inch thick material.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Generally, a letter that takes 45 minutes to an hour to bend by hand can be run on an Accu-Bend machine in about 4 to 7 minutes. It depends on the size of the letter, how complicated the shape is, and which Accu-Bend machine is used.

The largest shape that has been run on an Accu-Bend is 20 feet.

The smallest width of coil material that can be run on an Accu-Bend Model 26 machine is 1 inch. The smallest width of coil material that can be run on an Accu-Bend ACE and ACE+ is 2 inches. And, for an Accu-Bend Freedom, the smallest width is 3 1/2".

Sign companies have been making trimless channel letters using the Accu-Bend machines for over 25 years.

Our machines run with little maintenance. The Encoder should be cleaned weekly, and possibly more often when .063 coil is used because it generally is a dirtier coil.  Our customers call our Accu-Bend machines the “workhorse” because they continue to run channel letters even after decades of use.

You can be up and running production letters within only a couple of hours. Install and setup entail the following steps:

  1. Taking the Accu-Bend machine out of the packaging
  2. Attaching the off-load table, coil table, and computer stand
  3. Plugging in the computer and machine to standard 110v AC outlets
  4. Connecting the compressed air (1300 psi clean, dry, compressed air)

Most training is completed the same day by Zoom, computer sharing, video instructions or via phone support.

“The best investment I made for my sign shop was buying my Computerized Cutters – Router, Model 26 channel letter bender and Clincher to build my channel letter business.  It has been a blessing.

I really appreciate Carl inventing the bender.  I have grown both the volume and more importantly the profitability of my channel letter business since I acquired these machines.  And I can continue to grow my business with these machines.  They are dependable and durable.  Made in America –  does mean quality where these machines are concerned.

I highly recommend your products to anyone who plans to grow their sign business. Your machines paid for themselves many times over!  Great job!”

–Ricky Guzman, All Pro Signs, Dallas, Texas

We asked the customer why there was only a single call to our tech support in the 4 years since he'd purchase our Accu-Bend Model 26 and Accu-Clinch Clincher. Here's what he said:

"Well Don, two things.

One, we are really that self sufficient that we can usually figure things out our selves.

Two, your machine has not had any major issues and really are THAT GOOD. All we need to do is keep it lubed and clean."

–Jeff, California
